We capture the layout of your home as well as your specific requirements, including:
- Anticipated number of wireless / wired devices as well as location of wired equipment.
- Exact area to be covered by Wi-Fi networks.
- Anticipated network speed provided by your ISP (Internet Service provider).
- Any need to provide dedicated Wi-Fi networks for your guests.
- Any other preferences or specific requirements you may have.
We compile a written recommendation, including:
- Exact number, make and models of router and other network equipment (switches etc.).
- Router placement proposal.
- Proposed concept for network management and network access control.
You purchase the required equipment and decide, whether you want to handle the installation yourself or have us installing the system for you.

Installation Prerequisites:
Installation of any router or extender requires a working modem and an activated Internet access provided by your ISP.
In some cases, administrative access to your modem configuration may be required (often provided via dedicated App from your ISP).
Important Notes:
- Many ISPs provide combined modem / router devices to their customers. Installation of a separate Wi-Fi router may require reconfiguration of such combo device and/or disabling of router part of device.
- Installation of any hard-wired Ethernet (Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 7) depends on physical setup at place of installation – and can be quoted separately.

- Detailed network analysis (Wi-Fi signal strength, Wi-Fi channels used, actual bandwidth, etc.).
- Identification of any ‘dead zones’.
- Adjustment of router configuration.
- Root cause analysis for any devices not connecting to the network.

Network Attached Storage (NAS) - Concept:
If you need access to your data from all of your devices, but ‘cloud based’ storage for whatever reason isn’t an option, a Network Attached Storage or NAS may be the solution for you. NAS devices basically run as embedded (file) server on your network, can hold up to 100 TB and more of data, and provide different levels of data redundancy keeping your data intact and accessible even in case of a drive failure.

We provide Consultation and Installation Services for Network Attached Storage Devices of most brands, including Asustor, Buffalo, Drobo, Netgear, QNAP, Synology, TerraMaster, Western Digital, and many others.
Our NAS Services cover:
- Consultation and Device Selection: We collect detailed information on your specific use cases, applications, typical data access patterns and storage needs. Based on this analysis, we recommend the exact NAS make, model and configuration perfectly covering your needs.
- Installation: After you purchased the NAS device and the hard disk drives used in the NAS, we install and configure the device for you. We also provide a dedicated brief hands-on training on best use, maintenance and administration of the device.
Important Notes:
- While the initial cost of NAS devices may be significant (starting at ~$400), they do not require any ongoing subscription fees as e.g. cloud-based storage.
- Even with data redundancy provided by NAS devices, additional data backup solutions should be in place.
