This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which SmallBiz IT collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://SmallBizITNovi.com website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by SmallBiz IT.

1. Personal identification information

Personal Information: We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, register for membership, subscribe to news and updates, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Financial Information: To help Users of our services set up a payment account and pay fees to SmallBiz IT, we may collect financial information, including debit card or credit card number, and other payment information, as applicable. We use Financial Information in order to operate the SmallBiz IT platform and services that we provide and to ensure that you are billed for the services you choose to receive from us. We do this as necessary for our legitimate interests in providing our services and to fulfill our contracts with Users.

2. Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service provider utilized and other similar information.

3. Web browser cookies

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their local storage (such as hard drive) for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them.

If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include news, updates, vendor information and promotions, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. Information of U.S. Users: As we are providing services to residents of the State of Michigan only, our collection, use, and retention of the information of Users is in accordance with applicable U.S. laws, as is our determination of what is deemed to be “personal data and/or information”. SmallBiz IT expressly disclaims any liability that may arise should any other individuals obtain the information you submit to the SmallBiz IT Platform.

Security of Collected Information: While SmallBiz IT will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of all financial information and personal information, we expressly disclaim any liability for any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein, and you agree to hold SmallBiz IT harmless for any damages that may result therefrom. Users may find content on our Site that link to the sites and services of partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Sites. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.
